Following the mandate of DepEd, “The Brigada Pagbasa serves as a platform to synergize efforts and resources to address education-related challenges especially on literacy and numeracy. Further into the program, Dr. Helen G. Padilla, Chief Education Supervisor-CID, gave the Welcome Remarks. She challenged all the participants to do their part in the implementation of the Brigada Pagbasa so that all learners would become functionally literate which is the ultimate goal of the reading program.
