Schools Division of San Juan City National Women's Month Celebration

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH!

March is National Women's Month, a time to celebrate the many accomplishments and contributions of women throughout history. This month serves as a reminder to all of us to recognize the strength, power, and resilience of women in our communities, workplace, and homes, as well as the vital roles women have played in history and continue to play in our society today.

Today, 31st of March 2023, the School Division Office of San Juan City gave appreciation to the women employee of the department. From the suffragettes to modern-day activists, from inspiring women leaders of the past to their colleagues and students in the classroom, and from inspiring role models to everyday heroes, women from all backgrounds have championed the cause of social justice, equality, and human rights.

As our speaker, Ms. Lia Chua said, “Believe in yourself.” Believing in yourself is one of the most important aspects of life. We often find ourselves in situations where we feel like we can't do something or that we're not good enough. It's in these moments that it's important to remember to believe in yourself. To have faith in yourself and your abilities, knowing that you can do whatever it is that you need to do. It's important to recognize that you have the power to make things happen and that you have the strength and willpower to achieve your goals. Believe in yourself and you will be surprised at how far you can go regardless of gender.

Additionally, we have so many great women who have contributed to our country and National Women's Month gives honor to those brave and inspiring women who have made a positive difference in the world. It is the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate the accomplishments of women and empower our female students to become strong, and confident leaders. By introducing students to inspiring women of the past, having students learn about women's issues, and acknowledging the achievements of female students, teachers can create a positive environment that celebrates and supports women’s potential for even greater success in the future.

Furthermore, National Women's Month is also an opportunity to reflect on the issues that still need to be addressed in order to ensure that true equality is achieved. We must continue to strive for a world where all women have access to the same rights, opportunities, and resources. Let us use this month to celebrate the progress we have made and to commit ourselves to create a more equitable future for all.

WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society is dedicated to creating a world where everyone can live with dignity, respect, and equality. By working together, we can create a more inclusive and equitable society.
