Schools Division of San Juan City Delegates Join LearnConPH2023: PUSO, GALING, at TALINO

Learners' Convergence PH is an annual event that brings together Filipino students from all walks of life to celebrate their collective spirit, excellence, and intelligence. This year's event took place from July 29th to August 3rd, 2023 - six days filled with learning, inspiration, and camaraderie. The theme: “𝘚𝘢𝘔𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘢: 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰 𝘯𝘨 𝘒𝘢𝘳𝘶𝘯𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯 𝘏𝘶𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘨 𝘒𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯” reflected the organizers' belief in the power of unity and collaboration among Filipino learners in overcoming challenges and striving for greatness.

There were learners from the Schools Division of San Juan City like Joy Anmae Abrera – Outgoing DFSSG Representative, Roi Christian S. Padua – Incoming DFSSLG President, Pierre Paulo Olazo – Health Representative, Kryznha Cane G. Santos – Sports Representative , Ma. Alia Jamime Allysha M. Parma – Learners Rights and Protection Representative, and Charles Dwayne O. Sicad – DRRM Representative, who attended the activities along with the 1,890 unique and diverse participants championing inclusive and quality education for all. These individuals were selected based on their outstanding abilities, leadership qualities, and dedication to their respective roles within the division. During this event, participants engaged in a wide range of activities designed to enhance their knowledge, skills, and personal growth. Workshops on various academic disciplines were conducted by esteemed educators and experts who are leaders in their respective fields.

These workshops aimed to provide valuable insights while fostering critical thinking abilities among the attendees. In addition to academic workshops, there were also interactive sessions focusing on leadership development, creative arts expression, sportsmanship values cultivation, community engagement discussions, career planning seminars, and more. These diverse activities were intended to nurture well-rounded individuals who can contribute positively not only as learners but also as future leaders of society. The delegates were also given the chance to attend the opening program of the Palarong Pambansa and to visit and roam around Mall of Asia, see a movie with free snacks and drinks, and a 500-peso SM gift pass from the Mayor of Marikina City – Mayor Marcy R. Teodoro, as he celebrated his birthday with the delegates.

Learners’ Convergence PH 2023 anchored on PUSO (heart), GALING (excellence), and TALINO (intelligence) as guiding principles throughout the activities. Filipino students embarked on a journey of discovery, empowerment, and camaraderie. Together, they will contribute to the development and progress of themselves, their communities, and their beloved Philippines.
