San Juan City Associate Council Coordination Meeting

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) is the country's official scouting organization. On October 31, 1936, it was founded by Jose V. Aguilar's request. He later served as the group's first national president. BSP encourages young people to have an all-encompassing approach to growth and to take an active role in their communities. Outdoor skills, leadership, teamwork, community service, and personal growth are all taught to scouts.

In the Philippines, scouting is renowned for placing a high value on volunteerism and emergency preparedness. It has a significant presence in schools and local communities across the nation. Scouts are frequently observed taking part in relief operations following natural disasters, helping the impacted people. To help its members develop their abilities and personalities, it plans local and national gatherings, camps, and training sessions.

On August 10, 2023, the San Juan City Associate Council Leaders had a coordination meeting to plan the upcoming events. Via Google Meet, the meeting was presided by Sir Rommel E. Manal (Sir Maui), Officer-In-Charge, Office of the Council Scout Executive with Sir Roy Dan Pido, Division Coordinator of San Juan City Associate Council. The discussion began with the brainstorming for the upcoming Patrol Leaders Training Course and it was followed by staffing for the PLTC and Crew Leaders Training Course. Each leader from different schools had an assignment for the activities.

The meeting ended at 4:00 p.m. with scout benediction led by Sir Maui Manal.
