SDO - San Juan Conducts Division Capacity Building on LRMDS Processes, Development and Quality Assur


The DepEd SDO-San Juan through the Learning Resource Management Section (LRMS) under the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) conducted the Division Capacity Building on LRMDS Processes, Development and Quality Assurance of Teacher-Developed Learning Materials last February 13-15, 2020 at Hacienda Gracia Resort and Hotel, Lubao, Pampanga.


[endif]--![endif]--[endif]--The Division Capacity Building Program was participated by 56 SDO personnel composed of Education Program Supervisors, School Heads, Librarians, Master Teachers, School Learning Resource Coordinators, officers and members of the SDO-LERLIT. The said activity aimed to:(1) capacitate participants on the LRMDS Processes, Development and Quality Assurance of teacher-developed learning materials; (2) develop contextualized Learning Resource Materials anchored on sound standards; and (3) provide orientation on the Quality Assurance Process of teacher- developed Learning Materials. ![endif]--![endif]--

[endif]--The resource speakers of the three-day seminar workshop were Dr. Jonas Feliciano C. Domingo, Education Program Supervisor for LRMS ,Mr. Michael Rull, Project Development Officer II, Miss Magdalena Rosopa, Master Teacher of Pinaglabanan Elementary School, Mr. Neil Vincent Sandoval, Education Program Supervisor for LRMS of SDO-Makati, Mr. Mark Gil Tabor, Science Head Teacher III of Manila Science High School, Dr. Heidee Ferrer, Education Program Supervisor for LRMS of SDO-QC, and Dr. Ruby Baniqued, Education Program Supervisor for LRMS of SDO-Mandaluyong.

The conduct of the Division Capacity Building on LRMDS Processes, Development and Quality Assurance of Teacher-Developed Learning Materials is anchored on Strategic Directions of SDO-San Juan specifically on the strategic objective: Improve Quality and Relevance. Thus, participants are expected to develop learning materials like story books, strategic intervention materials, modules, worksheets and other teaching and professional development materials to undergo rigorous quality assurance process to be utilized by teachers in their classrooms to improve learning among their learners and for possible uploading in the DepEd Central Learning Resource Portal. Furthermore, all participating schools are expected to cascade this seminar-workshop to their respective work stations.
