SJES, Victorious in 2020 RFOT POPDEV On – the – Spot Poster Making Contest
Art is the expression of human creativeness, skills and imagination, typically in visual form. Creativity allows one self to embrace the inner strength and to express oneself in a healthy way. This paves the way for one of the student of SJES to be victorious in the recently concluded POPDEV On – the - Spot Poster Making Contest. With her love for art, this makes laissez-passers for winning the contest.
The Department of Education - National Capital Region through the Curriculum and Learning Management Division (CLMD) conducted the 2020 Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT) for the National Development (POPDEV) for Social Studies (AP) Category on November 28, 2019 at the Muntinlupa National High School. This aimed to showcase the talents, abilities, and performance of students as a result of learning in the area Social Studies (Araling Panlipunan).
Cloue Kaye S. Holanda, a grade six student of San Juan elementary School victoriously outwitted the other School Divisions by winning the Third Place on the Regional POPDEV On – the –Spot Poster Making Contest with the theme, ”Authentic Filipino Talents and Skill, Breaking the Barriers for Inclusive Education.”
The Judges of the said contest were Mr. Michael Belleza, a freelance artist and a graduate of University of Santo Tomas took up BS Fine Arts Major in Painting and Mr. Marnie S. Corpuz, a Graphic Artist and a decorative artist as a profession, a graduate of Architectural Drafting in Makati College.
With the supervision of her coach,Ms. Lourdes Susan P. Adigue and with the unwavering support of her parents and school Principal Mr. Lloyd T. Tulaylay, with perseverance and faith Holanda proved that she can rise above against other School Divisions. Without a doubt she is truly a pride of San Juan.
