BSP San Juan City conquers 2019 Regional Kid/Kab Palaro in Marikina City Sports Center


The delegates of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) San Juan City took part in the 2019 Regional Kid/Kab Palaro in Marikina City last August 16-17, 2019 with this year’s theme: “Masayang Samahan Tungo sa Panganap na Kaunlaran”.

The delegation was composed of eight elementary schools with eight children – kid or kab or both -- and at least one adult leader, and their respective school heads. They were led by the BSP San Juan City Vice Chairman, Mr. Roy Dan R. Pido.

The event was supported by the Local Government Unit of San Juan City by providing the registrations, food and transportation of each participants.

Marikina Sports Complex accommodated thousands of delegates from the different parts of the National Capital Region.

There were seven bases in the said activity: Base 1 – Bending; Base 2 – Karamia; Base 3 Larong Pinoy; Base 4 – Patintero; Base 5 – Ring Post Relay; Base 6 – Tumbang Preso and: Base 7 – Obstacle Course.

The boys went from one base to another upon completion of the tasks. Their activity cards were signed by the facilitators in each base and served as their passport and proof that they have completed all of the activities.

The 2019 Regional Kid/Kab Palaro is an annual event that marks the beginning of the many activities in scouting.
