SDO SAN JUAN CITY SCHOOL HEADS ATTEND TRAINING ON PARTNERSHIP AND NEGOTIATION SKILLS
The Division of San Juan City sent a contingent of Secondary and Elementary School Heads and Partnership Focal Persons to the DepEd-Sponsored Training on Partnership Management and Negotiation Skills for School Heads last August 13-14, 2019 at the DepEd Ecotech, Lahug, Cebu.
The 14-leader contingent of SDO San Juan belongs to the 3rd cluster of participants in the National Capital Region (NCR) that undergo series of stringent orientation on partnership and negotiation skills facilitated by experts from the National University, as DepEd-partner on training.
In an interview, Mrs. Hernanda R. Santos of Kabayanan Elementary School said, “This training is very timely since principals have to be equipped with strategies on partnership and negotiation skills in order to maximize stakeholders’ participation in achieving goals in basic education”.
The team went through an intensive training/workshop to help them understand the intricacies of Partnership and Negotiation Process, enhance their creativity and innovative skills in establishing school-based collaboration with stakeholders, and demonstrate effective facilitation of the various components of sealing the deal with potential partners.
The training on Partnership Management and Negotiation Skills for School Heads in the National Capital Region was facilitated by the DepEd External Partnerships Service and which was anchored on DepEd Order # 40, S. 2015 otherwise known as “Guidelines on K to 12 Partnerships”.
