SDO San Juan Ensures Investors in People Standard by Holding a Competency Enhancement for its Employ


On 30 July 2019, The Schools Division Office through the SGOD - Human Resource Development Section conducted a Competency Enhancement Program for SDO Personnel with the main focus on improving organizational efficacy by empowering and capacitating its workforce. The activity aims to provide SDO personnel an avenue for continuous professional development; upgrade SDO personnel’s technical know-how on matters relevant to efficient service delivery; uplift employees’ welfare and professionalism through a meaningful conversation, and apply acquired competencies on-the-job actual performance.

The day was jam-packed with knowledge and experiences sharing from the several presenters. Mr. Allan Eleazar M. Mal-In shared salient points of RA 6713 also known as the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees. This was followed by the presentation of ASDS Flordelisa D. Pereyra on Customer Relations and Professionalism wherein she asked SDO Personnel to present short skit and provide their feedback and experiences on handling different situations in the office. Other resource-persons used different approaches in the presentation of their topics.

The whole day affair was concluded with the presentation of Dr. Helen G. Padilla on Personal, Professional, and Organizational Commitment and Accountability. During her presentation, she asked the employees to offer a commitment to SDO San Juan City that will ensure continuous improvement of the organization that will ensure better service delivery and organizational efficacy.
