LGU San Juan City Zooms Up Education Delivery for the Youth of San Juan

The education delivery in San Juan City will be in a “Fast and Furious” fashion this year as the Local Government Unit (LGU), through the solid stewardship of Madam Guia G. Gomez, turned over six (6) Brand New Isuzu D-Max service vehicle to Dr. Alejandro G. Ibañez, OIC-SDS of the Schools Division of San Juan during the Flag raising rites last January 07, 2019 at the San Juan City Government Center grounds.

The good mayor stressed the objective of this project of her administration when she said “We want our city to be a premiere city in the National Capital Region (NCR), and one way to that is to elevate the competitiveness of our schools by providing them their needs. These vehicles manifest that support and there is more to come”.

Upon acceptance of this big help from the LGU, Dr. Alejandro G. Ibañez assured the mayor and all the stakeholders that the said vehicles will only be used for the welfare of the learners. “These vehicles entrusted to us will be for the official use of the learners and teachers in San Juan whenever there are activities they need to attend to. This is very significant development in optimizing the delivery of excellent performance of our learners as well as our teachers in the field”, he said.

The recipient schools of the new service vehicles were the elementary schools of Pinaglabanan, San Juan, Kabayanan, Salapan, and Sta. Lucia. The other one was given to the Supply Unit of the division office which is intended to fast track its logistic operations.

The SDO San Juan City continuously boosts its sterling achievements with the LGU as it aspires to thrive on positivity and possibility. With this, as envisioned by Dr. Ibañez, the SDO San Juan will be number one in the region in terms of achieving its desired performance targets.

“The solid partnership we have with the LGU will serve as an impetus in realizing this aspiration to be number one. And with the strong support we are continuously receiving from them (LGU), the realization of that dream is a big possibility”, he quipped in closing.

The Turn-over Ceremonies were attended by the LGU San Juan officials and employees, SDO San Juan officials, elementary and high school principals, teachers’ federation representatives, faculty club officers, SSG/SPG officers, GPTA Officers and members, and various stakeholders.
