SDO SAN JUAN CITY’S OBSERVANCE OF THE 4th METRO MANILA-WIDE SHAKEDRILL: A BIG SUCCESS
The 4th Metro Manila ShakeDrill conducted recently in all the schools in San Juan City was a resounding success as the DRRM teacher-coordinators implemented the protocol on the efficient management of safety, response and evacuation when disaster happens.
Mr. Roy Dan Pido, SDO DRRM Coordinator, has monitored the effective implementation of the contingencies laid for swift execution of the Duck, Cover and Hold system and the organized evacuation from the building to the designated open space area.
The Shake Drill is carried out periodically as a measure to streamline the contingencies needed in case that “The Big One” occurs thereby resulting to less casualty and damage to life and property.
