MOA Launching – Immersion Program a Forged Partnership between SJNHS - Senior High School with Indus

Formalization of partnership thru a MOA Launching with industries and other government institutions of the San Juan National Senior High School was held last October 6, 2017 at the SJNHS Audio Visual Room. The event was attended by officials/representatives from seven (7) out of nine (9) companies – four (4) of which have signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) while the other five (5) partners have an open policy agreement for CHED’s OJT/Trainees which also includes DepEd’s learners.

The event is in conjunction with the Immersion Program for the graduating senior high school students who are going to apply the knowledge and skills they acquired in the applied tracks they enrolled. Highlight of the event is the distribution of the signed/notarized Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to the City Government of San Juan, PowerAire, Pinaglabanan Credit Cooperative and the San Juan Medical Center. Short messages were also given by the partners’ key officials/representatives and followed by the symbolic curtain opening of the forged partnership.

The SJNHS started its search for industry partners since September 2016 and actually closed/finalized tie-ups with ten (10) partners to include the Little Sisters of Charity, a care home for the aged lolas. The said institution however, did not make it during the MOA Launching due to the coordinator’s health reason.
