FORMATION AND ORIENTATION OF GO GREEN PROGRAM
Go Green Project is a sustainable project of the Department of Education, a project which will contribute immensely to everybody’s welfare. It creates bigger impact on student’s health and learning that can make the school environment healthier, conserve natural resources, lessen school operation costs, involve whole community in solving ecological issues and prepare the school populace and the community for any disaster and or adversity.
In line with the Memorandum No 195, s. 2015 of the Department of Education, the school came up with and decided to call the attention of the people concerned in the said project. Last July 8, 2016 the Go Green Team together with the principal, called for an orientation and meeting regarding the Go Green Project.
It started with the prayer followed by the nationalistic song. A welcome remark was given by the Go Green Chairman, Mrs. Veronica R. Mora. The orientation proper was delivered by the school principal, Ms. Marina F. Aunzo. She stated the objectives and rationale of the project and the possible contribution of the stakeholders. She reiterated that, “This is a long term commitment and towards achieving all targets at the highest level.” The parents, likewise, expressed their full cooperation on the said project and even the LGU- Barangay council was eager to give their support.
A video presentation was presented to give them an overview on how would be going to start. The parents were assigned to different groups which were then tied up to the teacher’s different core group of the Go Green.
A smooth sail orientation was delivered and ended at 4:00 in the afternoon.
