ALS Palaro 2017
The Alternative Learning System Unit of the Schools Division Office of San Juan City hosted the very first ALS PALARO for the batch 2016 learners. This was held at Brgy. Tibagan Covered Court and were attended by the division personnel led by Mr. Virgilio A. Santos, Chief of the Curriculum Implementation Division and Brgy. Officials, Hon. Charles D. Tejoso, Hon. Ronald Mallari and Hon. Ricky Pantalleon.
The event started with a parade from the SDO grounds going to Brgy. Tibagan Covered Court. This event was participated by 4 groups of ALS learners wherein each group consisted of 25 to 30 members. Each group was asked to make their personalized banner, a group presentation and a pair of muse and escort as part of the pointing system plus the two major events which is basketball and volleyball.
The event ended up with red team as the overall champion, 1st place is the white team, 2nd is the blue team and 3rd place is the black team. Each team received a trophy and certificate of participation which they can include in their learners’ portfolio which is one of the requirements for them to pass the Accreditation and Equivalency Test.

Cerrodo; ALS Instructional Managers, Arniel C. Lago and Rex Kimberly D. Cabrela woul like to thank all the generous Barangay Officials who helped to make this ALS PALARO 2017 a huge success.
