Orientation of Regional and Division Screening and Selection Committee of Learning Resource Evaluato

In response to the regional unnumbered memorandum regarding the matter, our division has sent all the Division Supervisors as participants of the said orientation which was held at Vista Venice High Land Resort, Morong, Bataan.

The activity aims to: a) orient on the guidelines on screening and selection of the potential Learning Resource Evaluators (LREs), b) Discuss the Regional Division Screening and Selection Committee, their roles and functions on the screening and selection process, c) Simulate the screening process.

Upon the arrival of participants on March 4, 2016 they were advised to register. The opening program started at 3:00 pm for the presentation of participants, checking of attendance, and statement of purpose. The program was adjourned at 4:15 pm.

On the morning of the second day was the orientation proper on the guidelines on screening and selection of the potential learning resource evaluators which was discussed by Dr. Genia V. Santos the Chief of Curriculum and Learning Management Division. This was followed by the discussion on the roles and functions of the Regional and Division Screening and Selection Committee which was discussed by Dr. Jingle L. Sergote, Regional Education Program Supervisor for Kindergarten.

In the afternoon, was the application of the theories discussed in the morning, “the simulation process”, from the screening process of personal data sheets, guide on rating qualification standards, formulation of questions to be asked, and the interview proper. The interview was very successful, in which all were amazed on the flow of the interview with Miss Marnelli Bautista as the interviewee. The processing then was led by other regional supervisors and Dr. Genia V. Santos.

On the third day, was just had a very short and simple closing program after the breakfast. Then we have checked out from our quarters and traveled back home.
