Unlimited Talent Show and Potential Skills Festival
The unlimited talent show and potential skills festival aims to overcome the discrimination against children with disabilities. This activity will enhance the mobility of person with disability to participate fully in the social life and development of society. The main goal of this activity is to develop potential skills to the fullest extent of their capabilities, to enhance their special talents and other abilities in order to develop friendship among others and to be independent and become a productive citizen.
Our Division SpEd Coordinator, Mrs. Elsa L. Gella, believed that these children are able to cope and interact with other people, practice a modified social behavior and develop functional skills by using their talents and performing pre-vocational tasks like selling, cooking/ food preparation, handicrafts, music/ dance etc. The unlimited talent show and potential skills festival was held at Pinaglabanan Elementary School- Covered Court. It was started last February 15 up to February 18, 2016, 9am-12nn. The participants are the students from Pinaglabanan SpEd Center and Kabayanan SpEd Center with the help of the SpEd teachers and parents.
