SJES GIRLS SCOUT DAY CAMP
The San Juan Elementary School GSP Day Camp welcomed 367 Girl Scouts. The goals of this event are to establish appropriate peer interactions, to encourage and enhance teamwork, and to give girls the opportunity to reach their full potential in order to become responsible and productive members of society. Under the direction of our ever-supportive principal Dr. Lucila G. Artuyo, this event was planned and put together by SJES GSP Coordinator Ms. Salvacion L. Oro, Master Teacher In-Charge, Mrs. Jennette L. Revis, and the GSP troop leaders from grades 1 - 6.
The aforementioned camp was placed at San Juan Elementary on June 9, 2023 from 6:30 to 11:00 A.M. Mrs. Maricar D. Hinampas, the GSP Troop Leader from grade 6, served as the main host of the opening program. Following that, each girl scout got ready for the activity. Every grade level had its own unique activities, including scrabble and bowling for the little scouts, hula hooping and shooting that ball for grade 1, flag folding and role-playing for grade 3, centipede walking for grade 4, and treasure hunting for grade 6. The learning activities that the campers engaged in were entertaining and memorable.
Despite being extremely exhausting, the day helped the campers cultivate a strong feeling, build healthy relationships, seek challenges, and have fun while making memories of a lifetime!
Scouting rises within you and inspires you to put forth your best.
