San Juan City Scouting Committee Oath Taking Ceremony

Last October 15, 2018 the Division City Schools of San Juan hold an Oath taking ceremony for the elected and appointed officers of San Juan City Scouting Committee during the flag raising ceremony of the City employees. In behalf of Mayor Guia G. Gomez and Vice Mayor Janella Ejercito Estrada, City Councilors Richie Peralta, Boyet Aquino and Raissa Laurel were there to witness and facilitated the ceremony. The elected and appointed officers are as follows:

The formation of Scouting Committee is first time in the history of San Juan City this is in line with the preparation of San Juan City to separate in Marikina City as part of Metro Manila East Council. The target of scouting committee is to put up own Boy Scouts Council in San Juan City it is nice and yet challenging for the Division of San Juan but, with the help, cooperation and untiring support of LGU anything is possible. The San Juan City Scouting Committee works hard to achieve their goals for San Juan City by continuously encouraging students and parents to register for the membership of boy scouts. The increasing number of registered boy scouts in San Juan is a proof and a good sign for San Juan City to stand alone in creating their own Boy Scouts Council.
