Documentation: Feeding Program for Children with Special Needs

The greatest wealth is health. Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle and to prevent malnourished. By eating healthy foods, we will get nutrients what our body needs to stay healthy, active and strong. These are the reason Mrs. Elsa L. Gella, Division SpEd Coordinator, proposed a feeding program for children with special needs at Pinaglabanan Elementary School – SpEd Center. It was every Monday, Wednesday and Friday last July 1, 2015 until December 7, 2015. Sponsored by Rotary Club San Juan East. Launching of this program, their initial weight has been noted down. Monitoring of weight will be noted every month. A great number of SpEd pupils who suffer from malnutrition have lessened.
